The opportunities we have created are funded through grants and donations.

We are a group of families who have physically disabled children. All the disabled young people are wheelchair users. The name Power Pack derives from the batteries that drive their wheelchairs. Together we have discovered we have the power to create opportunities for our children.

We have positive parents who have formed a support network and through their endeavours have watched the young people have fun
and achieve in so many ways.

Wheelchair Football by Josh, aged 14
"We all enjoy the wheelchair football that we do. Its not only a place where we can have a game of footy safely but we can meet up with friends and generally have a great laugh. Our coach john makes the game really enjoyable for everyone and we all think that he’s great. Manuals and Electrics play the game and we play with a ball about 3 or 4 times the size of a standard football we are split in to equal teams and all battle for the ball it get a bit hectic at times but its great fun once the goals start they keep on coming it’s a really fun game to play".

The power pack group have particularly enjoyed dance workshops. They have experienced many different styles of dance. In February 2007 they hosted a dance showcase. The power pack  young people performed a tribute to the Blues Brothers, they all really enjoyed dancing and performing. One of our group members, Yas, has a real love of dance and has continued dancing on a regular basis.
